Flute Lessons

​My students are beginners on the flute, or students who are experienced players. I teach flute to students who are 7 - 18 years old, though am happy to teach adults, as well as students under 7 on a case-by-case basis. 

All areas of musicianship are taught in a style best suited to each student. I'm a believer in students learning to read music from the beginning, and I also work with them on ear training, improvisation and composition. I emphasize the development of a beautiful tone from the beginning. Lessons are $50 for an hour lesson, and $40 for a 45 minute lesson.
